Introducing the new secure Digital Badge check-in functionality.
This new functionality is a part of Activities 2.0 release that is now available to all clients.
This release provides all app users (members, attendees, etc.) with a personalized digital badge that allows for quick and easy check-in to any event, session, or activity.
Some key benefits of this new digital badge functionality:
- A single user badge is automatically created once a user is logged into the system.
- Data integrity. Each digital badge QR code is unique to the authenticated user and can only be used once for each activity.
- Easy access to the unique user badge under the profile icon on the app home page.
- Quick scanning and check-in for one or many users using the single or continuous scan option.
- Other Check-in methods are still supported.
- All checked in users can be viewed live in the app by Admins.
- Any user can still navigate to the Activities list on the home page to see that they have been recorded (checked in) to any activity.
- Notes can be added to any checked in user either during or after the check in process.
- All existing and future events, sessions, or activities already created, will automatically have digital badge scanning without any modifications to the previous check in method chosen.
