We Spoke To: Jeanette Stanziano, the Director of Education and Training at NYSAC, who has been with the association for 30 years.

The Challenge: Modernizing Member Communication and Reducing Costs

  • Universal Rising Costs: NYSAC struggled with increasing conference and operational expenses. As a nonprofit, they have limited revenue sources and are committed to never raising their dues, or doing so only if absolutely necessary. 
  • Outdated Communication: They saw their peer associations outpacing in the realm of technology and communication. “We were falling behind fellow associations that were completely paperless,” Stanziano said.

  • Member Communication: “Members can communicate with colleagues, and we have a way to reach them with urgent notifications. The minute our resolutions get passed, they’ll know, which is a huge benefit.” Stanziano said.
